| Formerly known as Blue Silver (BS). Born under the sign of Sagitarius. Has never stop drawing since "The Chernobyl Disaster". Artistic skills were developed due to long years of practice and interest in drawing (still seeking various methods for improvement), therefore drawing and coloring has become a passively attained skill. A few fanarts had been posted in the early days of PSM (Playstation Magazine) under the old nick of BS. Currently decided to tryout & pursue a career in freelancing illustration. A: Well, I design and provide what is needed to create the webpage. Personally, I am not well-focus in web-designing. The web-design department is being managed by another member, 'C', who is more designated & profesional in web-design. 'C' does draw and color as well. He currently offers affordable web-designing services to locales such as friends, schools, NGOS and small businesses.
Q: How do you create your artwork?
A: Basically I would sketch on paper. I can also use tablets to draw from scratch. I have extensive experience in using Genius (real cheap) brands tablets. I can color using watercolor, and ink most works on papers. On the PC, I am currently using Adobe Photoshop 5.5, 6, 7, 8, CS or CS2 to sketch, mock up and CG most of my works.
Q: Why do you charge for your commissions?
A: First, it is one of my source of income, other than small amount of pocket money from my parents. I am also taking up real-life jobs but the only PURE motivation is money. Secondly, I worked hard to produce artworks. The hours spent and the materials such as paper and pen are not free. Besides you are paying for my time and effort. I calculate the time needed and arrange the material as well as allocating enough time to complete any artworks. Thirdly, getting paid for a hobby is also very motivational, don't you agree? I am looking forward to be a 'full-time & well-paid' profesional artist.
Q: Can I use your artwork for my website layout, desktop wallpaper, message tag/banner, avatars, etc?
A: Yes, you can so long as it is intended for personal use and you do not infringe our copyrighted© works. DO NOT CLAIM them to be your work. You have NO RIGHTS to steal my artworks. If you really want to use my artworks, ASK ME FIRST. DON'T REMOVE any watermarks. At least, state or credit somewhere else near the art mentioning that the art was done by me. If it's also possible, you can pay and commisioned me for a better or refined artwork.
Q: Can you give personal tutorials?
A: Basic tutorials, yes. Go to the tutorial section. The rest is up to you. Its all about observation, experimenting and never giving up. I am serious. Try drawing 5 figure drawings, (monotone) and 1 landscape a week. Art Students at various renowned Art Institutes does that. 'C' did just that for the First Year Intake in One Academy as it was compulsory. Figure studies will help you with observations which will slowly help you develop how fast you capture and draw (hand-eye-snychronize) anything. Fine Art will help you in developing the right tones, shadows and lighting angles which in turn helps you to color better (better color senses).
Q: How do you get inspired? What motivates you to draw and color?
A: First choice, Simon Bisley & Frank Frazetta. Their kind of quality works is what I am still intending to achieve. I play lots of games, so sometimes my motivation changes from time to time depends on what game i play at that time.
Q: What style do you always use?
A: Depends. As I said before, i played a lot of games and from what I experienced, the artwork style used in that particular game may dictate how I draw at that time. I'm still looking for my own original drawing style.
Q: I don't think i've seen any of your completed comics, how come?
A: I recently lack perseverance or motivations or maybe both. My team and I myself very much look forward to complete a story but it isn't easy as it sounds. Unless I know that a promising reward and full cash payment is foreseeable, I am willing to do and complete a full length story graphic novels. ONE RULE: if it isn't a source of income, I won't waste so much time on it. Everybody here wants to stop procastinating.
Q: Are you attached with any companies? Can we hire you?
A: No. Depending on the type of offer, written, verbal & method of payment contract, I usually do not like being attached. Basically, i do not like being dictate on a job. I like to have freedom and also stress free when i draw. However, you are welcome to inquire me personally.
Q: What is 'OOPSMURAL'? Do you do wall paintings or graffiti?
A: OOPSMURAL consist of 4 members including myself. Acronym for Our Online Portfolio Studio MURAL. Sorry, no wall paintings or grafitties, its against the law here. The colour theme for this website is 'NJ-COOL'. 'C' decided to utilise soft, earthly tones, near-zen (huh?) fonts for my web-design.
Q: Do you draw Hentai? Have you ever or even considered?
A: ... no comment. Seriously. I think... but, what do you think?
