Here, we ll try to explain and share some of the basic tips that our team uses. First and foremost we would like to emphasize that it really does take a lot of hard work, experiments, fooling around, having fun and most important of all never stop because learning is a process that never stops. We've been through it, we know exactly how it felt like at the bottom, it was so hard to draw at first, even to sketch a simple human portrait. So make it fun and draw with passion. Don't give up.
Most Artworks here are basically hand-drawn in paper and later colored using Adobe Photoshop 5.5, 7.0 and 8.0 and above. The reason why we use older softwares here is simple: we are poor... T___T There are plenty of other drawing softwares out there you can try (we dont have to name it all... do we?) We also use a drawing tablet to draw a few artworks form scratch. We do recommend getting a tablet because you get the main advantage of utilizing pressure control (easily) on brushes when you draw or color.
The platforms we usually use for digitizing artwork are Pentium based computers with a minimum of 256mb RAM (Random Acces Memory), 10GB HDD & 500mhz processor (seriously... we are poor). Being financially poor doesn't stop us from using any available pc to color our works. Basically our pc can't handle artworks that is above 500dpi due to lack of pc memory. Our advise here is that if you are really thinking of drawing something like Drew Struzan (ya know, most of Top Hollywood movie posters were drawn by him..) You are going to need a pc that has been equiped with the latest compiled standard parts. You don't want a super slow pc to slow or better worse, destroy your drawing mood.
